Cover sheet bearing the handwritten reference "1575"
A simple cover page, marked only with the number "1575" in ink — a remnant of a filing system whose associated content is no longer identifiable.

Understanding this document
In this document
The page contains only one element: the number "1575" written in black ink and underlined, at the upper centre of the sheet p. 19.
No other mention, date, name or caption appears. It is likely a cover page or a folder back, intended to receive a filing reference.
Context
In the collections of engineers and design offices of the time, it was common to use numbered cardboard folders to organise technical files, correspondence or calculation notes. This type of numbering most often referred to a register or a summary that has since disappeared, allowing the associated content to be found.
This observation is based on general knowledge of industrial archiving practices and is not attested by the document itself.
Archivist's perspective
This sheet, taken in isolation, provides no information on its original content: the number "1575" p. 19 is today cut off from any register or index that would allow it to be identified with certainty.
It seems, however, that this page belonged to a larger file, since it is associated in the same digitised set with several documents dated 1940 concerning various technical projects — notably a folder devoted to a pedal car project and dimensioned sketches of a vehicle layout. The precise link between the number "1575" and these documents remains, however, unspecified, for lack of additional clues on the page itself.
This type of sheet, modest in appearance, nevertheless testifies to the existence of a structured filing system in the archives of Paul Magès — a useful lead for future cross-referencing research, should other similar numbers be identified elsewhere in the collection.
