Dimensioned plans in Italian of a suspension element (SACA) — the "Parte E" part
Two technical drawing sheets in Italian detailing the dimensions of a suspension element, with the "Parte E" part at a 5:1 scale and the "SACA" and "SIATA" title blocks.

Understanding this document
In this document
These two sheets are technical drawings in Italian, difficult to read, showing the detailed dimensions of a suspension element.
Page 2 — overview
The sheet presents two superimposed cross-sectional views of a wavy-shaped mechanical assembly, with diameter dimensions (notably Ø105, Ø195) and various annotated lengths p. 2. There is a mention of "470 Libera" p. 2, as well as drilling references "N°6 vil. con gambo sporgente 3mm" and "N°6 vil. senza gambo sporgente" p. 2, and part marks "00/839" and "00/905" p. 2. A circular diagram on the right shows a plate divided into "60°" sectors with internal diameters of 155 and 195 p. 2. The title block at the bottom of the page bears the SACA logo with a partially illegible "DIS." field p. 2.
Page 3 — the "Parte E"
This sheet details the part named "Parte E", drawn at a 5:1 scale p. 3. It includes numerous dimensions: diameters (Ø136, Ø165, Ø135, Ø90, Ø60, Ø260), radii (R25, R20, R40, R7), and threads "M8(1,5)", "10x1,25M", "10M(x1,5)", "10M(x1,1)" p. 3. The mention "470 (Lunghezza libera)" — meaning "free length" — is found again, repeating a dimension already present on page 2 p. 2-3. Angles of "60°" and "40°" appear at the bottom of the page, associated with a diagram of threaded holes arranged in an arc p. 3. The title block mentions "FORMA 4/897.20" and the name SIATA p. 3.
Context
SACA and SIATA are Italian companies that collaborated, at various times, with the automotive industry; SIATA (Società Italiana Auto Trasformazioni Accessori) is notably known as a Turin-based coachbuilder and automotive tuner. These title blocks suggest Italian subcontracting or collaboration regarding a suspension component, without the document specifying the exact context of this relationship with Paul Magès' work on hydropneumatic suspension at Citroën — this link remains a contextual hypothesis, not attested by the pages themselves.
Archivist's perspective
It seems that these two sheets form a coherent set: page 2 provides the general view of the suspension element, while page 3 details a specific part, the "Parte E", at an enlarged scale (5:1) — probably to specify its machining p. 2-3.
The recurrence of the "470" dimension qualified as "free length" on both pages p. 2-3 suggests that it is indeed the same part observed from two different angles of detail.
The joint presence of the names SACA and SIATA raises questions: it could be a part designed by one of the workshops on behalf of the other, or a part common to several projects. Without further documentary evidence, this hypothesis remains cautious.
This Italian technical document could be compared with other items in the same file dealing with suspensions, such as the suspension operating diagram with relief no. 6046 or the load/deflection comparative chart, which shed light on the broader context of the suspension research preserved in this collection.
